Fees & Sliding Scale
These fees are exempt from HST and cover the cost of our direct time together, as well as the additional time I spend in related administration, documentation, research, continuing education, and clinical consultation. There are no refunds for services already incurred.
Fees for group gatherings and workplaces may vary. Please contact me to inquire.
I offer a limited number of sliding-scale spots for those who do not have extended health benefits and have a limited income, are students, or are precariously employed/housed. My sliding-scale spots are currently full.
Payment Options
I accept payment through credit card and e-transfer. If paying by e-transfer, please send your payment before the start of our session. If you prefer to pay by credit card your information will be held securely through Jane App, a third-party application integrated into my practice management system. A receipt is emailed to you upon receipt of payment.
Insurance Coverage
The counselling and psychotherapy services I provide as a Registered Social Worker are not covered under OHIP. If you have extended health benefits check with your insurance provider to see if you qualify for coverage and reimbursement. Please note that I do not do direct billing however you can submit your receipt directly to your insurance provider.
Registered Social Workers are authorized medical practitioners so you can claim your counselling services on your taxes.
Cancellation Policy
If for any reason you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment, please provide at least 24 hours’ notice in order to avoid a cancellation fee. You will be charged 100% of the service fee for missed appointments and late cancellations. Insurance receipts will not be provided for missed appointments.
